3 KS: 95
An engaging skill trainer built on International Morse code: you see a cue word, then hear and watch the dot–dash sequence, and finally pick the matching answer among four options that share the same Morse “length”. Great as a first introduction to Morse and as a regular online workout for memory and attention.
What the Morse alphabet trainer trains
Like other trainers on Mozgotren.ru, this exercise targets several brain systems at once and keeps the load varied so practice does not turn into mechanical repetition.
Auditory and visual memory
You bind the on-screen word to the rhythm you hear and see. That strengthens the link between symbol, sound, and mental image — the basis for faster recognition of Morse patterns.
Attention and focus on the sequence
Mistakes come easily: a brief lapse mid-series is enough. Holding attention on each element and on the gaps between them is exactly what this trainer practices.
Recognition speed and comparison
After playback you must match the code against four similarly “heavy” choices. That stresses rapid comparison and avoids blind guessing because every button represents the same total Morse symbol count.
Short-term memory works hard: each new word and new chain replaces the previous task quickly.
Game rules
A word appears at the top (localised when available). Then Morse plays with audio; «Sound only» hides dot/dash glyphs and shows the speaker icon — audio is always on.
Faster tempo shortens timing; «Sound only» changes only how playback is shown.
Level sets how many Morse symbols (· and − counted separately) the target contains — higher levels mean longer chains. All four answers always match that total length.
Your job after playback is to tap the correct word (Latin under the hood; labels may be localised). Correct taps raise the level; mistakes lower it.
Scoring
Points for a correct answer:
Your total + DC × Level
DC is the difficulty coefficient from your chosen settings (shown in the trainer UI).
Level rises after correct answers and falls after errors.
Points deducted for a wrong answer:
Your total − (DC × Level) / 2
Totals never go negative.
Multiplayer
Invite friends for a real-time match: pick your settings and share the multiplayer link — copy it or use a social icon.
The session can start once everyone confirms readiness.
Compare scores and track progress on the platform; top runs feed into the Mozgotren.ru leaderboard.
